Big Sur wildfire rips through California’s Highway 1, forcing evacuations

The Colorado Fire, which started in the Palo Colorado Canyon, has burned 1,500 acres and has shut down the iconic highway, assistant chief with Cal Fire in Monterey County, told The Washington Post.
